Taken in Norway/Tromso on 18-Jun-2009
It is not easy to see a clear sunlight in Northern Country, most of the months they just have short sunlight with most of the dark times. However in Jun-July here in Tromso, there is 24 hours mid-night sun where 24 hours with sunlight, ( but still it is not easy to see a clear blue sky because it has been raining for a month already, I am so lucky that I can see two days sunshine during my stay. ) Just tiny little bit, will make me feel I am lucky this year.
What is mid night sun? (from wikipedia)
The midnight sun (also known as the black sun) is a natural phenomenon occurring in summer months at latitudes north and nearby to the south of the Arctic Circle, and south and nearby to the north of the Antarctic Circle where the sun remains visible at the local midnight.
